Graham Hockley
Founding Sensei

Graham Hockley started Judo at the age of 4, and after 4 years became a national medalist. He worked through the youth ranks to national champion, a member of the British Schoolboy’s national team, and earned first international medal was in European Junior Championships!

At the age of 16, Graham Hockley joined the British Army. As part of the Army he competed in the inter-service championships, fought with the national team, and won medals in various international tournaments throughout Europe. During his Service, he was selected to fight in the Scottish commonwealth team and the member of the British National Team.

Accomplishments include winning the London Open and earning bronze in the European championships. In 2002, Graham completed selection for the Royal Army Physical Training Corps, and the following year became the unarmed combat and Judo specialist for the British army.

Travis Goldie
Sensei

Travis Goldie has actively trained in Judo for over 8 years, under the experienced tutelage of Graham Hockely. After many years of experience and growth, he has carried on the mantle of the club. Travis is passionate about the sport, the art, and how Judo can help people. Teaching Judo is one of Travis' greatest passions.

Travis has won numerous medals in various regional tournaments. As well as competed and won in Sambo tournaments. He is a competitor who passes on those earned expertise to every student.
